Richard Linnell: Non-Executive Chairman

Richard Linnell is the Non-Executive Chairman of Acrux Resources, bringing over 55 years of global expertise in the resource and energy sectors. Over the course of his career, Richard has held senior executive positions at the Rhodesian Geological Survey, Delta Metal Company, Murray and Roberts, Middleburg Steel & Alloys, Gencor, Samancor, and BHP Billiton.

He founded and served as Chairman of the New Africa Mining Fund and has been a board member of BHP Billiton South Africa, Coal of Africa Limited, Mag Industries Limited, and several junior market companies listed on AIM, the TSX, the ASX, and the JSE. Additionally, he represented the mining industry on the Electricity Supply Commission prior to its incorporation as Eskom Limited.

Richard holds a BSc (Special Honours in Geology) from the University College of Rhodesia and Nyasaland (London).

Sean Browne: Executive Director

Sean Browne is the Executive Director at Acrux Resources, bringing over 25 years of expertise in investment banking, commodity derivative sales, structuring and trading, FX and rates trading, debt capital markets, structured mining finance, and deal origination. His career includes roles at Deutsche Bank, Standard Bank of South Africa, and Standard Chartered Bank.

He holds a BA in Law and English and a Postgraduate diploma in Finance, Banking and Investment Management.

Geoff Linnell: Executive Director

Geoff Linnell is the Executive Director of Acrux Resources, with 26 years of expertise in commodity markets, physical commodity trading, supply chain management, junior mining, and equity capital markets. He has gained extensive experience in the resources sector through roles at Metmar Trading, GVM Metals (now MC Mining), RAB Capital, and Wogen Resources.

He holds a BCom degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a Certificate in Management from Henley Business School.

Lelo Rantloane: Non-Executive Director

Lelo serves as a Non-Executive Director at Acrux Resources and is the CEO of Ata Capital, a private equity fund manager specializing in non-traditional alternative strategies.

With 19 years of experience in investment banking, he has expertise in debt capital markets, structured and leveraged finance, and securitisation.

Lelo has held roles at Ata Capital, Deutsche Bank, Rand Merchant Bank, and Morgan Stanley. He currently serves on the boards of Rain Group Holdings, SLG, Masana Petro Solutions, the Southern African Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (SAVCA), and Remgro (Alternate).

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Hons) from the University of Cape Town and a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) qualification from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
